What is littleBits?
littleBits is a pioneer of the Maker Movement–a platform of easy-to-use electronic building blocks that can be used for creating inventions of all sizes. The maker will be empowered to invent anything, from a remote controlled car, to a smart home device! The Bits snap together with magnets, no soldering, no wiring, no programming!

littleBits makes it easy for both teachers and students to engage in STEM by using a universal, 21st century language: electronic building blocks. The intuitive, colour-coded Bits each have a specific function (ie motion, lights, sound, sensors, internet connectivity), and all the Bits snap together with magnets to make larger circuits.

There are only two rules for littleBits!
1. The magnets are always right
2. You always start with a blue and a green; pink and orange are optional (in between)

The STEAM Student Kit is the easiest way to integrate powerful STEM/STEAM learning into your classroom. It includes everything you need to engage small groups of up to 4 students and develop their 21st-century skills - includes 16 hours of lessons!
